Best Greek food by far in the San Antonio area.. I've tried two out of the three and they're both dang good. Highly recommend!

They are fast, the food is excellent, and their lamb is always cooked to perfection. The inside looks amazing. My only (minor) complaint is that their "spicy" is literally not spicy at all, not even a little bit.

We changed things up a little bit for dinner tonight. We stayed within the Stone Oak area and visited @demosgreekfood. You order food and pick up the food at the counter. They only accept cash tips. We ordered the Lamb Souvlaki Plate, which came with Greek salad. We also shared the Sampler, which came with Greek salad, gyro slices, chicken and beef souvlaki, spanakopita, tiropita, pita, and tzatziki. Everything was delicious except the beef souvlaki. It was a bit chewy, but they gave us an extra chicken souvlaki. There was plenty of Greek salad to take home. Definitely couldn’t leave without having a Baklava and Kourabeides, which is a cookie covered with confectionary sugar. They have locations in Castle Hills and Downtown, so check them out!

Great food and service. I had the chicken gyro lunch special. It comes with hand cut fries, greek salad and a drink. The tea and limeade are so good. Staff was very friendly! Will be back.

I go here when in the mood for Greek food. Often I get the Dieters Plate which is very healthy with chicken, fresh vegetables, and salad. Every time I visit it seems like the restaurant does a lot of take out as well. I like how the place is decorated with scenes from Greece. I’ve been to Santorini and it makes me want to go back! Until then, I can visit Demo’s for Greek food :)

I've been going to Demo's since they opened their first location in the early 80s and have never been disappointed. Their quality never diminished. It is so delicious!

I started eating Demos when I was stationed here in 2007-2010. It became my go-to for comfort food, and ultimately my standard for Greek food. It’s still just as good. I am back in San Antonio and eat here on a regular basis again. It’s still the same. After a good workout, I love to eat the Dieters Plate...the chicken is cooked perfectly, and the salad is unbeatable. And you cannot go wrong with the Gyro. And bring your appetite, the Gyro comes in 4 sizes (the biggest is called the triple, never had that though). I tried the baklava last month...now I get it every time. Eat Here!

5/2025 We decided to visit Demo's tonight for dinner. Demo's has been around for a very long time. The original one being located IH-410 and Blanco road, just outside the loop. We arrived, uh, we're quickly read it and our order taken. It took about 15 minutes to make our food at which time they called our number, and we decided to eat inside, taking the ambiance of the environment at the Demo's located at loop 1604 and Blanco road. I've added our some pictures of our meal. Ray Dieter is special with gyro meat added on. The ziki sauce was withheld. The other item, was a Micro Gyro fully loaded with all the fixings (see video). We really enjoyed the meal and we hope that should you visit, your experience is as good as mine/ours.
